CRAIGAVON-based Global Home Warranties has doubled both its number of employees and its workload in the UK and Ireland.

The company, formed in 2011 and which provides 10-year structural and latent defect insurance for new-build projects, has just opened a new office in the Republic of Ireland to cater to significant demand.

As a result, it has also invested in expanding its fleet, purchasing seven new vehicles (mostly Volkswagen Caddy) form Donnelly Group, bringing its total number of vehicles across the UK and Ireland to 10.

Kathy McKenna, director at Global Home Warranties, said: “We have surveyors based both here and across the water, all of whom can be on the road for the majority of the day. It's therefore really important we have efficient, reliable vehicles.

“In light of our recent expansion, we decided it was time to also expand our fleet. We have successfully partnered with Donnelly Fleet since our inception. The team's extensive knowledge is second to none so our choice was narrowed down to several suitable vehicles which we took test drives in.”

Specialising in sourcing, funding and managing any make or model of vehicle, Donnelly Fleet, previously known as Donnelly Finance and Leasing, services can be availed of at all eight Donnelly Group locations across the province.

Tony Magee, dedicated sales Manager for Global Home Warranties and general manager for Donnelly Fleet, added: “Seven years ago Global Home Warranties became my first contract hire customer and it has been great to see Kathy and the team go from strength to strength.

“From the start, they appreciated our honesty and ability to understand the needs and requirements of the business. We pride ourselves on delivering first class service as well as cost-effective vehicle solutions to keep our customers on the road, and within budget.

“It's wonderful to see a local company such as Global Home Warranties enjoy such success and we wish Kathy and the team luck for the future.”
