Guild property network expands into Northern Ireland

THE Guild of Property Professionals is expanding into Northern Ireland - and Wilsons Auctions has become the first local member of the prestigious network of independent estate agents.

The Guild carefully selects agents to join the growing network of almost 800 independent estate agent members across England and Wales, and now in Northern Ireland.

There can only be one Guild member in each location as the organisation offers exclusive territories, allowing members to stand out against their competitors.

The addition of Northern Ireland will see a number of select regional estate agents across the province sign up to benefit from the network's services.

As Guild members, estate agents gain access to the range of marketing solutions, additional revenue generators, and the nationwide network that The Guild offers independent estate agents. It offers training and updates on the latest legislation to ensure all members are fully compliant.

Wilsons Auctions is the largest independent auction company in the UK and Ireland and has the ability to auction everything from land and cars to commercial vehicles, plant and machinery and prestigious items from super cars and planes to high-value watches, designer goods and much more.

Its group operations director Peter Johnston said: “We are thrilled to be the first member from Northern Ireland to have been signed by The Guild.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for Wilsons Auctions to be part of such a prestigious network of members across the UK and to lead the way for estate agents in Northern Ireland to benefit from their expert services.”

Iain McKenzie, chief executive of The Guild, added: “We have a fantastic range of tried and tested services for independent estate agents, and we are excited to bring these to Northern Ireland agents.”

The Guild will host an exclusive event for independent estate agents at Titanic Belfast later in the year to formally mark its launch in Northern Ireland.
