Development land near Dungannon goes on market for £350,000

A PRIME development site in a prominent location just off the M1 motorway near Dungannon has come to the market with an asking prices of around £350,000.

Located at Ballygawley Road on the Granville roundabout, the 1.94-acre site is zoned for commercial use within the Dungannon & South Tyrone Area Plan.

No planning permission is currently in place, according to Best Property Services, the agents handling the sale.

The development site, around 40 miles from Belfast, is adjacent to a nursing home, offices, a community school and a car sales and parts business.

There was a recent pending application for a new building supplies premises and associated yards and car parking.

However, the land will be sold subject to a restrictive covenant that it will not be used for the manufacture, retail or wholesale of any building supplies, timber or hardware.

Dungannon has a growing population and serves a wide rural hinterland. The town continues to have a strong industrial base, primarily situated at Granville, with occupiers in the are including Dunbia, Linden Foods and Moy Park. The main local industries are engineering and food processing.

The subject site is located on a roundabout to the northern side of the Ballygawley Road approximately half a mile west of Dungannon town centre.
