Flybe launches new Doncaster Sheffield service

EUROPE'S largest regional airline, Flybe has launched a new year-round service between Belfast City and Doncaster Sheffield Airport.

Flights are now five days a week on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays and seats can be booked now for travel through to Macrh 30 2019.

Flybe chief commercial officer, Roy Kinnear, said: “Doncaster is a new destination for Flybe from Belfast and really strengthens our offering to customers travelling to and from the recognised ‘Gateway to Yorkshire’. The airport is conveniently located just 5km from Doncaster and less than 30km from Sheffield."

Ellie McGimpsey, aviation development manager at Belfast City Airport, added: “Doncaster is a great addition to our ever-expanding UK and Ireland route network and we’re delighted to welcome the first passengers to Belfast today. Flybe is our largest airline by number of routes and our strong relationship ensures frequent connectivity to a number of locations for both business and leisure passengers.”
