OUTSOURCE and recruitment group Staffline has acquired its second business in the Republic in recent month as part of its larger investment plans for expansion into the EU zone ahead of Brexit, increasing its turnover by 14 per cent in the process.

Staffline Group, which first opened offices in Belfast in 2013, has grown into a £70m turnover business in Ireland in less than five years and today employs over 200 staff members across Diamond Recruitment (which is acquired in 2015), PeoplePlus NI and Staffline Recruitment.

The company's recruitment division in Ireland is among the three largest recruitment businesses on the island and operates from 15 sites, with more than 6,000 contractors servicing a network of hundreds of clients.

Staffline is headed up in Ireland by Tina McKenzie, who was recently appointed as the new honorary consul of Finland in Belfast.
