BELFAST-based information technology company Zenith Networks has teamed up with EastSide Partnership to provide the infrastructure which will help the community based organisation continue its growth of recent years.

EastSide Partnership is a regeneration organisation with community, statutory, political and business members who are dedicated to the regeneration of east Belfast.

It currently has a number of active projects including the promotion of tourism in east Belfast property development and neighbourhood renewal.

EastSide Partnership developed the successful Connswater Community Greenway which completed this year and the EastSide visitor centre cafe on the Newtownards Road.

Maurice Kinkead, chief executive of EastSide Partnership, said: “We have been towards a better east Belfast for the past 21 years and we continue to have ambitious plans for the immediate and the long term future of this part of the city.

"Our staffing levels have increased as has the number of partnerships we have developed across the city.

“All of that means we need an IT infrastructure we can rely on and which is dynamic enough to meet our expanding needs, ideally through a local service provider. Zenith Networks meets those needs and more and their location, just a few yards from our office at Avalon House is a bonus for us.”

Martin Lyons, managing director of Zenith, said: “We have recently moved to bigger premises in east Belfast and like EastSide Partnership we are in growth mode.

"We will be providing support for their existing IT infrastructure and assessing what improvements need to be made to accommodate the growth of the organisation. Like other organisations they need to ensure their IT platform is up to date, fit for purpose and meets their future as well as present requirements.

“It is also important for an organisation like EastSide Partnership which is active in multiple sites to have a flexible IT support which can react to emerging issues very quickly. That is the advantage of working with a locally based IT company.”
