Record success sparks growth into north west for Flint Studios

Announcing the Flint Studios move into the north west are Ciaran Murray and Jeremy Biggerstaff

FAST-growth Belfast-based web solutions agency Flint Studios is expanding into the north west following the acquisition of Creative Metrics in Derry.

Flint, the only Northern Ireland company to figure on the Deloitte list of Europe's highest growing technology firms, has just reported a 40 per cent growth in turnover for the first nine months of this year,

And the acquisition of Creative Metrics increases Flint's impressive portfolio of clients, including Londonderry Chamber of Commerce, Doherty Meats, Fleming Agri Products, Mary Peters Trust and Todd's Leap, to more than 200.

Already this year, Flint Studios - which was established in 2011 and specialises in user experience, systems integration and measurement - has signed off on a strategic merger with Cheshire-based Link Information Technology.

Its managing director Jeremy Biggerstaff said: “We have a strategy aimed at delivering double digit growth year on year until 2020 and to become one of the top agencies in Ireland and the UK. The first half of 2017 has propelled that strategy into action.

“The Creative Metrics acquisition is a fantastic opportunity for Flint Studios to build a customer base in the north west and for the existing Creative Metrics customers to benefit from the broad range of web solutions we can provide."

He added: “Our dedicated team works tirelessly to provide the best bespoke web solutions and adhere to a supremely high standard of work that consistently delivers results."

Ciaran Murray, managing director at Creative Metrics, will continue to work alongside Flint as a consultant.

He said: “We're working with Flint Studios to help ensure a smooth and clear transfer for each customer. I'm confident they have the technical prowess to drive digital business forward for all of Creative Metrics' clients, backed up with exceptional customer support, dedicated account management and superior after care."

Flint Studios employs 30 specialists across an array of technical, creative and digital disciplines, and it provides solutions for more than 200 clients.
