MORE than 100 jobs at Belfast International Airport are on offer at the latest airport jobs fair which takes place from 4pm on Thursday October 26 at the Spectrum Centre on Belfast’s Shankill Road.

This is the fourth airport jobs fair to be organised in recent months, and six businesses operating at the airport complex will have stands.

Security company ICTS tops the list with up to 60 positions available, followed by Swissport, provider of ground and cargo handling services, with up to 20 jobs on offer.

Other firms exhibiting include catering company Fed & Watered and currency exchange firm ICE.

Belfast International Airport is also expanding its Airport Constabulary and is offering three police student officer positions.

The airport's human resources head Jaclyn Coulter said: “In the past few years airport businesses have created hundreds of new jobs, and we decided to run job fairs in south Antrim, north Antrim, west Belfast and now north Belfast.

“The response we have had has been tremendous, but we continue in growth mode which means our companies are expanding their workforces and in need of people to fill those positions. All necessary training for the jobs advertised will be provided by airport businesses.”
