New M&S Aldergrove to create 23 jobs

M&S is due to open at the new retail development at Belfast International Airport on October 19

THE new Marks and Spencer foodhall at Belfast International Airport is to open next month, creating 23 jobs.

The store is part of a £2.5 million retail development at the airport, alongside Chopstix, Burger King, Subway and Irish independent coffee chain Insomnia, who will open its first store in the north.

M&S will open on October 19 and the 2,400 sq ft store will be managed by Michael Gillen.

Mr Gillen, who been with M&S for 11 years said the new store launch has been widely anticipated in the local community.

"We're looking forward to bringing the best of M&S food and drink to Belfast International Airport and the surrounding area."

M&S Aldergrove in Antrim will be open Sunday to Saturday (7am-11pm). Local residents are invited to celebrate the opening from 10am on Thursday, October 19.
