TRANSLINK has announced a positive set of performance and customer satisfaction results following independent research carried out earlier this year.

Overall Customer Performance Index scores are high with NI Railways at 82 per cent and Metro and Ulsterbus showing a modest increase on last year to 75.9 per cent and 82.5 per cent respectively.

Translink group chief executive, Chris Conway said he was encouraged by the results.

“ Notable areas of improvement relate to value for money and punctuality; we have also seen positive trends in relation to satisfaction at stations, staff helpfulness and better access to passenger information with improved digital platforms now available."

The Consumer Council welcomed the findings.

“We look forward to seeing how this improvement continues in day to day services," head of transport policy, Scott Kennerley said.
