A revolutionary new app designed to streamline business processes has been launched in Ireland by a Co Antrim firm.
The CoreChex data capture app replaces traditional pen and paper based forms,which can have limitations such as accuracy, delay in the transfer of information and the need to re-key data for analysis and reporting.
The app offers the ability to attach photographs, notes and signatures to forms which are automatically date and time stamped. It also captures the GPS location of the mobile user along with the time taken to complete the inspection. It enables forms to be smarter by automatically determining the outcome such as Pass or Fail and seamlessly assigns actions based on the information provided to aid workflow management, efficiencies and indeed safety in the workplace.
The new software, developed by a Toomebridge company of the same name, has proved an instant success with clients attracted in both Northern Ireland and the Republic.
Recon Waste Management in Co Armagh utilise the app to inspect company assets and manage site safety in their Portadown Recycling Plant.
Office manager Anne Coyle said it has "greatly improved" the speed of employee and inspections and reports.
