PIZZA restaurant Little Wing has opened its seventh branch in Northern Ireland with a £250,000 investment in Lisburn, which will create 20 jobs.

The new restaurant in Lisburn Square, opens its doors today and will cater for 60 guests.

Established in Belfast in October 2009, Little Wing prides itself in offering authentic, made to order Naples-style pizzas, cooked in its distinctive 6ft traditional woodstone pizza ovens.

Over the last seven and a half years, Little Wing has gone from strength to strength, developing a cult following and selling over 1.25 million pizzas to date.

The Lisburn branch will employ up to 20 new members of staff, bringing the total number of people employed across all Little Wing outlets to over 130.

A further £250,000 investment in a new Little Wing restaurant in Newtownards later this year, will bring the number of restaurants to eight and the total number of employees to 150.

Little WIng managing director Luke Wolsey said the Lisburn restaurant was part of further plans for growth.

“We have ambitious plans for the continued roll out of the Little Wing brand across Northern Ireland and further afield. Following the Lisburn opening, our eighth Little Wing restaurant will open in Newtownards later this year and we are exploring further opportunities to expand our portfolio of restaurants in the near future.”
