BABY products and services provider Eclipse Nursery Store has added to its own family - by opening a second store.
It is now operating from premises in Lisburn Square, adding to its already thriving shop in Ballymena.
Established by Patrick and Claire Herald, Eclipse specialises in travel systems, baby furniture and other accessories for “bump, baby and beyond”, and its range includes popular designer brands from the likes of iCandy, egg, Bugaboo, Venicci and Joolz.
Last year Eclipse Nursery Store was voted second best retailer in the UK by iCandy, and its new store in Lisburn hosts one of the largest collections of iCandy designer prams in the north
Patrick Herald says: “We see Lisburn as the perfect location to help us build a brand new customer base. The people and city of Lisburn have been incredibly welcoming and helpful, and we are now in the ideal location to service local customers and those visiting from further south.
"Lisburn Square, a city centre location with easy access and good parking, was the right choice for us and we look forward to trading in the city for many years.”
Councillor Uel Mackin, chairman of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council’s development committee, said: “It is fantastic to welcome another new tenant to Lisburn Square, which after much investment and rebranding is now a prime location in Lisburn City Centre for new and growing businesses.
