AIRLINE Jet2.com has announced its biggest ever winter programme from Belfast International Airport with more than 50,000 seats available in 2016/17 - up 25 per cent year on year.
The schedule, which runs between October 30, 2016 and March 25, 2017, includes more seats to winter beach break destinations such as the Canary Islands and Alicante.
“This is by far our biggest winter programme to date for Northern Ireland holidaymakers,” said Steve Heapy, chief executive officer, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.
“The number of people in Northern Ireland wanting to jet off for some much-needed winter sunshine means we are seeing spectacular growth, and we have added thousands of winter sun seats to popular holiday hotspots such as Alicante and the Canary Islands.”
It follows the recent launch of the company’s biggest ever flights and holidays programme for summer 2017, which saw the introduction of a brand new route to Costa Brava (Girona) as part of an overall summer capacity increase of 10 per cent to more than 280,000 seats.
