BELFAST public relations agency JPR was the big winner of the night at the 2015 CIPR Northern Ireland PRide Awards at the Culloden, taking home five gold and four silver awards, including gold in the Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy category.

More than 200 PR professionals from across the north gathered to celebrate the best of public relations across Ireland, and the JPR team took home a range of accolades in categories including the Low Budget Campaign for their work with Ulster Bank and the “Stay out of Harm Down on the Farm” campaign.

Taking home the big award of the night, judges’ comments included: “JPR presented a strong all-round entry to clinch gold in the Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy Award. The judges were notably impressed by their outstanding commitment to training, development and continuous improvement.”

Also big winners on the night were Translink, claiming four gold awards, including both Community Relations Campaign and Public Sector Campaign for their campaign ‘iPredict’.

Samantha Livingstone, chair of the CIPR Northern Ireland group and director at Rumour Mill PR said: “We celebrated some fantastic work carried out by talented individuals, teams and organisations from across the region.

"The level of excellence in Northern Ireland is outstanding. Year on year these awards help highlight the strong calibre of individuals and teams working within public relations and demonstrates how Northern Ireland is driving forward best practice, ethics and professionalism in PR.

"Therefore, it was apt that we also celebrated a momentous milestone for CIPR NI, as it marks 50 years. I have no doubt we have another strong 50 years ahead.”
