BELFAST-based investor and mentor Stephen Houston has been named among the the UK's top 50 business advisers. Mr Houston was recognised for his commitment to working with start-ups. He has been involved with Invest NI's Propel programme for several years, mentoring and supporting startups with high growth potential, export-focused business ideas. The awards are run by small business network Enterprise Nation, which asked fledgling businesses to nominate an adviser that had helped them to build and grow a sustainable business. "It is hugely rewarding to work with start-ups - to fine-tune the skillset required of a CEO, and to keep the passion and ambition for their business idea ignited," he said.
