NEWLY qualified chartered accountants at BDO have been praised for their pass rates. The firm's managing director Peter Burnside said his nine colleagues who passed their final exams represented a 70 per cent success rate for the firm.
It compares to an overall success rate among those sitting the Chartered Institute of Ireland entry exams of 50 per cent.
Mr Burnside said the company was "absolutely committed to developing and implementing our in-house mentoring programme which is designed specifically to support our students as they prepare for these very difficult accountancy entrance exams".
