Things look rosey for new Apple outlet
COMPUTER giant Apple has given its seal of approval to a reseller of its products in Derry for the first time.
The iConnect store will open in Foyle-side shopping centre this week creating 10 full-time jobs in the process.
The outlet will offer shoppers the chance to experience Apple's complete range of Mac, iPad, iPhone and iPods.
Strabane native John McEvoy, iConnect director said: "We're very excited to open a store in the Foyleside centre, which will serve as our head office in Northern Ireland.
"We will be placing strong emphasis on providing customers with exceptional levels of service, outstanding educational platforms and an enhanced retail experience which we hope will further increase awareness and loyalty to the Apple brand as we move forward."
IConnect's hands-on approach provides customers with an opportunity to test drive the full range of products and Apple-trained staff offer impartial advice to both consumer and professional customers.
IConnect launched their European delivery last year when it opened its first store in Whitewater Shopping Centre, Co Kildare in September and the second store in Liffey Valley, Dublin, in November.
Experts will be available to help customers learn all about the latest products from Apple including the iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPad Air, iPad and the iPad mini. Customers can get hands on with the updated MacBook Pro with Retina display and OS X Mavericks.
