A RESIDENTIAL and industrial development in Larne has been given the go ahead. Environment minister Mark H Durkan has granted outline planning consent for the project of the former Kelly's Fuel Yard at Bank Road. The proposal for the site, formerly known as Howden's Quay, includes waterfront residential development, leisure uses and small industrial development. Mr Durkan said the approval was "a good example of my department delivering its commitment to facilitate economic regeneration, whilst ensuring the protection of the north's high quality environmental assets".
