* BLEND David, left, and Ross Thompson, right, of Thompson's Family Teas join Susanna Hassard from Asda to see off the latest shipment of the award winning signature blend tea to the supermarket's Scottish stores. It has won a new contract to supply all Asda stores across Northern Ireland and Scotland with its Signature Blend premium tea. The new line, which was a double gold award winner at the 'Great Taste Awards', complements the existing product range supplied to Asda by Thompson's, including the company's brand Punjana. Based on previous sales figures and Thompson's dominance of the local tea market, Asda has estimated it will sell enough Signature Blend to make 10 million cups of tea across Scotland and the north by the end of the year
