Ogilvie Fleet flourishing

Ogilvie Fleet has completed its first full financial year in Northern Ireland with 40 new accounts on its books, representing an investment of £10 million in vehicles and services.

The latest corporate sign-up is lawn care and treatment firm green Thumb, which operates five franchises from its base in Duncrue Street. green Thumb, run locally by brothers Harry and Hugh gaston, has signed an initial contract with Ogilvie worth £250,000 to replace a significant percentage of its fleet. Six vans have already been delivered including VW Transporters and Caddys.

Ogilvie regional manager Jim Humphreys said: "Winning this contract is a great example of how trading locally can deliver cost savings and a more immediate personal service Based at Quay gate House in Belfast, Ogilvie Fleet is the only private family owned full service contract hire company in Northern Ireland. It is part of the Ogilvie group, a £175m turnover privately owned business employing more than 400 people.
