THE north's largest independent catering and support services provider Mount Charles has won the competitive tender to become the exclusive provider of all in-house catering services at the University of Ulster for the next five years.
It will mean 30 new jobs at the group, bringing its total payroll to 1,300 across five divisions. Mount Charles has worked closely with the university to oversee a complete refresh of the current campus refectories at Coleraine, Jordanstown and Magee, and has invested significantly in the creation and set up of the diverse new brands.
Managing director Cathal Geoghegan said: "The facilities at the University of Ulster are a world away from traditional canteen style service, and we're confident we will provide students with the variety, convenience and value they need."
