Expansion sees more staff

TELECOMS firm has created nine jobs as it expands to new markets. Connect Telecom on Belfast's Lisburn Road received finance from the Growth Loan Fund to enable its expansion. It said the new positions, which include customer operations and sales roles would be in place by the end of next March. Founded in 2007, the B2B telecoms company has grown throughout the Northern Ireland market, as well as expanding into the Republic and across Wales. Employing 20 members of staff, the firm plans to use the loan to support expansion into the Scottish market, selling mobile, fixed-line and broadband services. Its sales director Robin Brown said the expansion had been a "long-term goal".
