Cosmetics retailer opens

UPMARKET cosmetics retailer Kiehl is to open its first outlet in Northern Ireland at Belfast's Victoria Square. The American retailer which is owned by L'Oreal will open its doors on Thursday. Victoria Square general manager Michelle Jackson said they had been "wooing them for ages as we know just how much everyone in Northern Ireland loves how the award-winning ranges perform and make us feel." Kiehl was founded in New York more than 160 years ago and those behind the Belfast store promise it "will bring the spirit of the original New York City-based apothecary to the community in a retail environment". Kiehl's worldwide general manager said: "We are so delighted to have this opportunity to serve the Belfast community in a new Kiehl's store environment."
