Minister for the Environment John Gormley has published a draft list of potential nominees to the World Heritage List.

They include The Burren, The Monastic City of Clonmacnoise and a number of early medieval monastic sites like Glendalough.

Gormley says he believes the list includes properties of outstanding universal value.
