COMEDIAN Micky Flanagan has added extra Irish dates to his upcoming live stand-up tour due to overwhelming demand.

The London funnyman's original gigs here, at the SSE Arena Belfast on May 24 and Dublin's 3Arena on October 19, sold-out quickly last year – however, fans in both cities who missed out on seats now have another chance to catch his brand new show An' Another Fing.

The upcoming tour follows Flanagan's record breaking Back In The Game tour in 2013 which was the biggest comedy tour in the world that year with over 500,000 tickets sold.

Before he hits these shores, fans will be able to see the comedian in his brand new Sky 1 series The Micky Flanagan Detours. Due to air in the next couple of months, it "will see Micky declutter his mind of the big questions that keep us all up at night".

Big issues include 'is there really such a thing as a mid-life crisis?', 'can you offend a German?' and 'does a leather waistcoat have any place in modern society?'.

If anyone can get to the bottom of such matters, it's the thinking man's Cockney comic.
