THIS completely unauthorised stage parody of smash hit fantasy series Game of Thrones has been going down a storm with Throners in the West End and Down Under – and now it's finally coming 'home' to Northern Ireland AKA the non CGI-enhanced version of Westeros.

Described as "a 'must see' treat for Game of Thrones fans and the perfect introduction for the unenlightened" – the latter just won't get any of the many series-specific references littered throughout, presumably – farcical comedy show Graeme of Thrones has been penned by "a team of top UK comedy writers" (it says here).

The story centres on avid GoT fan Graeme, whose big dream is to recreate his favourite fantasy saga live on stage.

While Graeme might not have quite the same budget as the internationally renowned award-winning TV show, or as many cast members, or the performance skills required, he does have the help of his best friend, Paul, and the girl he used to fancy at school.

And, when news reaches this unlikely trio that an influential theatre producer might be coming to see their show, Graeme decides that this could be his big break – so long as nothing goes wrong, naturally.

If reviews from London and Australia are to be believed, fantasy-themed hilarity ensues.
