Winston Pollock

:: Former NI Piping School principal and respected judging panel member Winston Pollock is swapping pipes for pedals next week in a bid to raise money for impoverished and disabled kids in Ethiopia.

In a change of wind, he's getting his bike out this Monday to do a lap of Lough Neagh to raise funds for the 'Hope and a Future' charity team heading to Ethiopia in the last two weeks of July.

He told Piping Digest: "I’m not guaranteeing I’ll finish the course in one day, hence the reason I’m starting early in the week, but you can be assured I will finish the course, and if anyone from the pipe band family would like to sponsor me, they can speak to me directly when we next meet."

Alternatively, donations can be sent to his home address 16 Glenkeen, Randalstown, Co Antrim, BT41 3JX
