SINGER Nadine Coyle has insisted she did not fall out with her former Girls Aloud bandmates – because there was "no friendship to begin with".

The 32-year-old from Derry admitted she was no longer in contact with the other four members of the hugely successful all-girl pop group.

Appearing on ITV2 comedy panel show Celebrity Juice, host Keith Lemon asked the songstress: "Do you see any of them still?"

Coyle responded: "No. It's for the best."

Lemon said: "I heard that you fell out", but she replied: "There was no fall-out – there was just no friendship to begin with."

As the audience gasped, the mother-of-one said: "What are you oohing about?!"

Lemon added: "Is there going to be a reunion?", to which Coyle responded: "Probably at some point, yeah!"

Coyle was one of former bandmate Cheryl's bridesmaids at her 2006 wedding to now ex-husband Ashley Cole.

Lemon asked her: "You were in Girls Aloud, who was your favourite?" Coyle pulled an awkward expression before smiling and saying: "Them all!"

The five-piece band – the other three members were Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding and Kimberly Walsh – had 20 top-10 singles and four million album sales.
