TRUMPETS and trombones-toting musical unit Hypnotic Brass Ensemble return to Belfast tomorrow night for another horn-powered showcase of their melodic jazz-funk meets hip-hop rhythm 'n' groove goodness.

The Chicago-bred ensemble are a family affair consisting of seven brothers: trumpeteers Smoov, Baji, Hudah, Yoshi, baritone hornster Rocco, plus tromboners Clef and Cid.

Together with live drummer Cinque Kemp, bass fiend Parker McAllister and axeman Kevin Hunt, these sons of legendary south Chicago jazz blower Phil Cohran (of Sun Ra and Earth Wind & Fire fame) put on a reliably fun live show that's pretty much guaranteed to get the whole room feeling good and moving as one.

To get a feel for what they're all about, check out their most recent record Fly for free in full at Soundcloud.com/hypnotic-brass-ensemble/fly-full-album, or visit HypnoticBrassEnsemble.com to watch their music videos and learn more about this unique team of talented brothers – the self-proclaimed 'bad boys of jazz'.
