RADIO Ulster's local music-based programme Across The Line turns 30 this September – and to celebrate they will be staging a special free concert featuring some Irish musical favourites.

Co Antrim rock legends Therapy? are set to return to The Ulster Hall for the birthday broadcast, which will be transmitted live from 'the grand dame' between 8pm and 10pm on the night.

The bill will also feature a full band performance by acclaimed Derry singer-songwriter Soak, an acoustic turn from feted Dublin indie-folksters Villagers and sets by Belfast-based widescreen rockers R51 and northern reared / Dublin-based electrofolk duo Saint Sister.

There are still more acts to be announced for the special gig concert, free tickets for which are available now by online application at BBC.co.uk/showsandtours/shows

Tickets will be allocated through a random draw and applications can be made until Monday 1 August at 5pm, limited to two tickets per person.
