1980s pop icons ABC have announced a Belfast show for this winter. Earlier this year, Martin Fry and co returned with The Lexicon Of Love II, a belated and descriptively titled sequel to their hit 1982 LP The Lexicon of Love which finds the crooner taking a less innocent view of affairs of the heart than on its million-selling predecessor,
Among Fry's collaborators on the new album is Academy Award-winning musician and composer Anne Dudley, who arranged the strings on the original Lexicon.
Other songwriting partners include Grammy award winner Rob Fusari (Beyonce, Lady Gaga), film composer Charlie Mole and Marcus Vere.
The video for the first single Viva Love was filmed by director Julien Temple in the Theatre Royal, Stratford East, the same venue where they shot the promo for classic single Poison Arrow in 1982.
