IT seems we should get prepared for Zayn Malik to start topping the charts, as Simon Cowell has confirmed the former One Direction star has signed a solo deal with RCA Records.

Simon confirmed that Zayn had indeed signed a new contract, and seems to think that with the right label behind him the 22-year-old will be capable of producing something “special”.
