CO Down actor Jamie Dornan has been nominated for a British Independent Film award.
The Holywood-born star is up for the best supporting actor award for his role as Jan Kubis in the World War Two film Anthropoid.
Dornan (34), best known for his role as Paul Spector in the Belfast-based crime drama The Fall, starred alongside Irish actor Cillian Murphy in the movie.
The film is based on the true story of the assassination of German Nazi official Reinhard Heydrich by Czech soldiers.
The awards celebrate the most innovative and creative productions by film makers in the UK, often confronting key contemporary socio-political issues.
Two writers from Northern Ireland have also been nominated at this year's awards.
Belfast-based writers John Cairns and Michael McCartney have received nods in the debut screenwriter category for their Northern Irish psychological thriller A Patch of Fog.
Irish genre-film, I Am Not A Serial Killer also received three nominations under the Cork-born director, Billy O'Brien.
Actor Michael Fassbender, whose mother is originally from Larne, Co Antrim, is also among the nominees for best actor for his role in the crime drama Trespass Against Us.
He has previously won best actor awards for his role in Shame and Hunger.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony set to take place on December 4 in London.
