THIS week finds NI Opera opening their rehearsals for Verdi's Rigoletto to primary schools, young people with disabilities and learning difficulties, charities and many others at Belfast's Grand Opera House.

NI Opera are offering this 'access all areas' experience of Rigoletto as part of a 'dynamic outreach week' including 12 different events and over 40 organisations. Events include tailored workshops, pre-show talks, a sing-along with the Belfast Philharmonic and a community dress rehearsal.

"We're interested in showing what an incredible and inclusive art form opera can be," says Kate Guelke, NI Opera's outreach co-ordinator.

The outreach week continues until Sunday September 30. Rigoletto opens on Sunday and runs until October 6 (Tickets from Goh.co.uk).
