INCOGNITO, the 'anonymous' postcard-sized art initiative for the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation, is back: the largest single gallery art exhibition to be held in Ireland in 2018 will run from April 4 to 8 at Dublin's Solomon Gallery.

Acclaimed Co Tyrone landscape artist Clement McAleer is among a number of artists from Northern Ireland who have submitted artworks to this year's Incognito, which will feature over 1,000 Irish and international contributors who have painted, drawn, photographed, etched, sewn or otherwise created something on a postcard which will form the largest group exhibition held in Ireland this year.

There are over 1,500 postcard-sized original pieces by artists including work by Tracey Emin, Rhona Byrne, Martin Gale, Dede Gold, John Kelly, Peter Curling, Martin Gale, Mo Kelly, Nick Miller, Ed Miliano, Abigail O’Brien, and Richard Gorman.

All pieces are exhibited anonymously and sold for €50 each to the first buyer present in person at the Solomon Gallery after 10am on Friday April 6: the catch is, you don't know the artist's name until you buy.

Last year's Incognito event raised €81,000 for the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation, with all money from sales going to the children's brain injury charity.

This year, there will be two 'viewing days' on Wednesday April 4 and Thursday April 5, though artwork cannot be reserved or purchased before the sale begins on Friday April 6 at 10am.
