RUBBERBANDITS man Blindboy Boatclub is currently celebrating 17 weeks at the top of the Irish iTunes podcast chart with The Blindboy Podcast, which had its first ever live recording at Duncairn Arts Centre in Belfast last Saturday.

You can listen to that episode, Jockey's Porridge – which features award-winning Belfast tour guide Donzo talking about exploring and explaining the city's Troubles hotspots and the competing ideologies involved to tourists in a very entertaining manner – right now via iTunes or Acast.com/blindboy.

As you'll hear, apparently things went so well that the plastic-bagged Limerick maverick has already lined up his return to the north for another live dose of his chart-topping, 200,000 listeners-attracting blend of 'short fiction, interviews and comedy'.

Blindboy – who also released his first book, The Gospel According To Blindboy last year – will be back for another Belfast-based live podcast recording on Friday May 1 at The Limelight, so if you want to get involved you'd best get your tickets now.

Tickets are on sale now via Katy's Bar and Ticketmaster outlets.
