U2 FINALLY got around to announcing their Irish dates for the 2018 European Experience + Innocence Tour earlier this week – now begins the scramble to try and secure tickets for their Belfast gig at SSE Arena on October 27 and/or the four Dublin 'homecoming' shows at 3Arena on November 5, 6, 9 and 10.

Tickets for all the Irish dates go on sale today, with all General Admission floor tickets in Dublin and Belfast being paperless and available online or at the box office only.

Dublin fans are advised that no queueing will be permitted at 3Arena prior to 8am due to "heavy local construction" (is there any other kind?).

The Experience + Innocence Tour – not to be confused with will 2015's Innocence + Experience Tour – finds Bono and co back indoors following last year's al fresco Joshua Tree-centric stadium shows.

Based around their most recent LPs Songs of Experience and Songs of Innocence, the sequel to the well received 2015 tour will once again find the Irish superstars exploring cutting-edge technology in an all new arena-based show.

Expect multiple performance areas, a state-of-the-art sound system and a brand spanking new super high-res LED screen that's a whopping nine-times the resolution of the previous tour's model – just in case you weren't quite able to count every pore on Bono's fizzog last time around.
