Eliza and The Bear will headline the Maine Stage at Moira Calling 2017 tomorrow

THE Moira Calling Festival is back for its second year this weekend, bringing two days of live music and theatre to Moira Demesne in Co Armagh.

The festival opens this evening with a Bright Umbrella Drama Co production of Macbeth at 7.15pm.

On Saturday September 9, acclaimed 'euphoric indie folk' quintet Eliza and The Bear from London will be making their northern debut at Moira Calling with a headline slot on the festival's Maine Stage.

There's yet more homegrown talent to be found on the All The Little Lights stage in the form of Ryan Vail, Orchid Collective, Silences, Brash Isaac, Dandy's Loft, Rebekah Fitch and Matty Rea.

Adult tickets cost £11 (Friday night) / £33 (Saturday), available online via or in person from The Fat Gherkin, Main Street, Moira and Woven, Church Square, Banbridge.

Discounted tickets for under-18s cost £16.50, while children under 12 get in free – see Moira Calling website for full details.
