LAST summer, Armagh alt-rockers Gascan Ruckus came up with the novel idea of staging an all-day local music stuffed gig in Belfast with the added incentive of barbecue-cooked (m)eats

Apparently, it went so well (excellent attendance, no reported food poisoning deaths) that they decided to do it again: thus, tomorrow afternoon finds The 2nd Annual Gascan Ruckus Summer BBQ taking place at its now regular home in the soon-to-be-extinct QUBSU.

For 2017, the Ruckus have assembled an even bigger line-up than last time, with an impressive 19 bands taking part across its two stages – including, of course, a climactic 'mind you don't barf up your beer and burgers' set by their good selves.

Joining them on the bill are (deep breath) Emerald Armada, Anna's Anchor, Beauty Sleep, Empty Lungs (acoustic), Fox Jaw, Franklyn, Goldie Fawn, Joshua Burnside, Kamikaze Girls, Larks, Life Goals, Making Monsters, No Oil Paintings, Pillow Queens, Susie Blue, Tuskany, The Wood Burning Savages and Via Barvikha.

The action is go from 1pm onwards, so grab an £11 ticket via Wegottickets.com and start fasting now.
