NOW here's a show you probably thought you'd never see: DJ Yella, former mixmaster and co-producer for gangsta rap legends NWA, is coming to Belfast.

Not only that, he's also bringing late NWA leader Eazy-E's son Lil' Easy-E with him, who'll be getting on the mic to perform some of his dad's classic rhymes at The Limelight show on Tuesday July 25.

The renewed interest in all things NWA following 2015's hit biopic Straight Outta Compton has persuaded Yella (real name Antoine Carraby) to come out of retirement and show off his skills behind the decks once again.

Thus, on Tuesday night, he'll be serving up a selection of NWA classics alongside some other west coast hip-hop favourites.

"I still DJ the same way, but I’m not a 'scratch-scratch-scratch' battle DJ," says Yella.

"No, I’ll rock the house. I'm old school."

If you're also an old school hip-hop head, then you don't want to miss this rare live show by the man who helped Dr Dre birth NWA's classic debut Straight Outta Compton, its follow-up Niggaz4Life and Eazy-E's hit solo LP, Eazy-Duz-It.
