ANDY Warhol, Banksy, Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, and Jean-Michel Basquiat are among the A-list names of the modern art world whose works will feature in an upcoming exhibition in Belfast.

Gormley’s Fine Art, one of Ireland's leading art galleries, will host an exhibition of contemporary international editions during July and August, bringing many rare works to Northern Ireland for the first time. The exhibition will explore contemporary art from the 1950s to the present day.

It highlights a range of movements including Pop Art, Street Art, Neo Pop, Young British Artists and Urban Art and will also include works by Keith Haring, Robert Indiana and Roy Lichtenstein.

The exhibition opens on Saturday July 1 and runs until August 31 at Gormley’s Fine Art, 471 Lisburn Road, Belfast. It features more than 40 limited-edition and unique original screen prints, including 10 Warhol pieces. Such works are rarely available to view in Ireland, let alone buy.

“We are genuinely excited to bring work by some of the world’s most highly renowned contemporary artists to Belfast. Currently, many Irish art collectors would have to go to London or New York to purchase this type of work from some of the most sought-after stars of the art world. This is a fantastic opportunity to see the works up close in Belfast,” Gerard Gormley of Gormley’s Fine Art said.

Entry to the exhibition is free and all work is available to purchase, with prices starting at £7,000 and going up to £150,000.
