BELFAST'S annual celebration of electronic music-inclined audio/visual art is back next weekend with a two day rave-up featuring Jeff Mills, Ben UFO and Denis Sulta.

Fatima Yamaha, Midland, Marcel Dettmann, Rebekah and Job Jobse will also be performing at the newly expanded event at T13 on June 2 and 3, which features plenty of local talent including Bicep, Or:la, Hammer, The Cyclist, Jordan, JMX and Ejeca.

AVA Festival headliner Jeff Mills will be premiering Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind, his five-hour 'full sensory experience' collaboration with lighting designer Guillaume Marmin.

Mills will also be talking about the team-up as part of this year's AVA Conference, which features talks, masterclasses, workshops and panels with the likes of Leftfield man Neil Barnes, R&S founder Renaat Vandepapeliere, Resident Advisor, Moxie, New Jackson and Native Instruments.
