RETURNING for a second year this September, the Moira Calling festival has now announced its main stage line-up for 2017's event.

Headliners on Saturday September 9 will be acclaimed 'euphoric indie folk' quintet Eliza and The Bear from London, who are set to make their live debut in the north at the Co Armagh festival along with fellow Londoners, Flyte, who will bring their indie rock to the main stage earlier in the evening.

Local acts Emerald Armada, Girls Names, Stomptown Brass, Brand New Friend and Franklyn round out Saturday's main stage line-up, with the bill for the festival's All The Little Lights second stage still to be announced.

"Last year when we started this we could never have imagined being here a year later, with a full-blown music festival and a host of top acts on our hands," says Jillian Marsden from promoters Brown Lemonade.

"This is great news for Moira and for local music. We hope that this line-up proves that you don't necessarily have to go to Belfast to find world-class entertainment.

"We hope these seven acts whet people's appetites for Moira Calling and we can't wait to announce our second stage headliners very soon."

Tickets priced £30 now available via MoiraCalling.com. Those who purchase a ticket for Saturday will also receive a complimentary 'Free Friday' ticket.
