IRISH bands will come together for a special charity concert in Dublin next month.
Presented by guest hosts Al Porter and Katherine Lynch, Rock Against Homelessness will feature performances by Hamsandwich, Finbar Furey, The Blizzards, Delorentos, Paul Cleary, Ivy Nations and August Wells in aid of homelessness charity Focus Ireland.
Homeless musician Danny Bracken will also play on the night, accompanied by Paul Brady and Dave Fleming, and there will also be a 'top secret' special guest band to be announced on the week of the concert.
This charity gig follows on from last year’s Rock Against Homelessness event which featured turns by Camille O’Sullivan, The Strypes, The Stunning, Something Happens, Mundy, Donal Lunny and others.
Funds raised from that show allowed Focus Ireland to support over 300 families in securing a home and leaving homelessness behind last year.
