Just announced: Sunflowerfest 2017 confirms first additions to line-up

Rubberbandits are among the first acts announced for this summer's Sunflowerfest

CO DOWN music festival Sunflowerfest is back at Tubby's Farm in Hillsborough from July 28 to 30 and the family-friendly event has just unveiled its first batch of live acts.

Limerick boyos Rubberbandits will be terrorising the Main Stage at Sunflowerfest 2017, as will Derry singer-songwriter Ryan Vail, who brings his new live AV show to the festival after taking it to the US for SXSW in Texas.

Other Irish acts featured in Sunflowerfest's first line-up reveal include

Le Galaxie, King Kong Company, Malojian, R51, Henry Cluney Band, Stormzone, Decomposing In Paris, Farah Elle, Citizen Nobody and Zlatanera, with yet more music on offer courtesy of Beans on Toast, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, Damola, Electric Swing Circus, Too Many T's and Glasgow pop-rockers Single By Sunday.

The dance and electronic music-orientated ElectroMoot stage will feature a headline set from Or:La and tunes from Jika Jika!, Ponyhawke and Brien, while Silent Disco also returns for another year.
