God's Waiting Room, Saturday March 25, The Maple Leaf Club, Belfast

EAST Belfast-based alternative club night God's Waiting Room returns next weekend with the first ever live performance by its founder David Holmes' acclaimed project Unloved.

Unloved's 60s girl groups and soundtracks-informed debut album Guilty of Love was released last year to great acclaim, but next weekend's performance at GWR will be the live debut for Holmes' collaboration with singer-songwriter Jade Vincent and keys man/composer Keefus Ciancia (a regular T-Bone Burnett collaborator), the couple behind The Rotary Room 'jam night' at music-friendly hipster bolthole Little Temple in LA's East Hollywood/Silverlake area.

And, if this momentous occasion alone wasn't enough to entice you eastwards, GWR will also be hosting DJ sets from Cats Eyes duo Faris 'Horrors' Badwin and Rachel Zeffira, plus tunes from Stevie Beat and Mr Holmes himself, all set to 'film and tape manipulation'-based visuals courtesy of Hackett and Deadman.
