THOSE who've wronged him beware – ex-AC/DC drummer and legendary loose cannon Phil Rudd is bringing his current band to Belfast this summer.

New Zealand-based Rudd was forced to step down from the Accadacca stool in 2014. However, what many fans don't realise is that the drummer's eight month stint under house arrest for possessing drugs and making threats to kill – an initial headline-grabbing charge of 'attempting to procure a murder' was dropped due to insufficient evidence – also put the kibosh on a planned tour with his side project the Phil Rudd Band.

Also featuring Kiwi musos Allan Badger and Geoffrey Martin, Rudd's trio recorded and released their debut LP Head Job 'down under' in 2014, but were subsequently unable to promote it for obvious reasons.

However, the record has now been given a world-wide re-release and Rudd and co are hitting the road to play some shows.

If you like AC/DC, you'll surely find plenty to enjoy in Head Job's stripped-down riff rock – but check out the tunes Repo Man and Head Job at PhilRuddMusic.com, just to be on the safe side.
