Join Paddington Bear at the Shambles Yard Armagh on Saturday at 8pm. This free open-air cinema will have you following Paddington on his journey from deepest Peru to the bustling streets of London. Film-maker Christopher Myers will give a talk at Castle Coole National Trust this Saturday on recent film projects shot in Fermanagh including feature film Miss Julie (filmed on location at Castle Coole), BBC comedy Blandings and a yet-to-be-released Hollywood action film. The talk will close with a screening of a short film shot on location in Fermanagh close to Castle Coole titled Land is God. Booking required – 028 9082 3238.
TYRONE
Tyrone Ancient Order of Hibernians are planning a mini-St Patricks Day celebration in Tyrone to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the death in exile of the Great Hugh O Neill – who passed away in Rome in 1916. Known as Hibernian Day, the event will take place in Kinturk on Sunday and will involve a parade of AOH bands from across the north.
