Special event: Nitro Circus at Windsor Park, Friday June 10

Nitro Circus Live will bring choreographed motocross stunts to Belfast and Dublin

EXTREME sports-themed action show Nitro Circus Live arrives in Ireland for the first time next week, bringing its acclaimed mix of death-defying motocross stunts and spectacular BMX/skateboarding tricks to Belfast and Dublin (June 11, Tallaght Stadium).

Its cast of daredevils will perform choreographed riding routines including the 'Nitro Bomb', which features all riders flipping simultaneously.

Starring 17-time X Games medalist Travis Pastrana, the show promises new never-before-witnessed tricks and record-breaking feats.

"We cant wait to bring this all-new tour to Europe," says Pastrana.

"Everyone is pushing one another to go faster and jump farther than the night before. This stage set is so over the top, fans will be blown away."

With this year's tour styled like an old-fashioned three-ring circus, the Nitro Circus riders will also brave the infamous 40-foot Giganta ramp, which will be employed to launch a host of ridiculous contraptions skywards including a Penny Farthing, a lounge chair and a bathtub.

"It all goes back to the gladiator days," explains Nitro Circus CEO Mike Porra of the show's appeal.

"There's nothing any different between what we're doing now and what they were doing then. There are people 30ft away from the action and there's some guy who's 50ft up in the air on a motorbike and if he makes one mistake he'll probably die.

"People know they are 30ft away from danger and that creates incredible excitement."
